The Legacy of Kenneth Walley, D.D.S., M.S.

Although Dr. Walley has retired, we continue his legacy of excellence and he’ll always have a special place in our practice. Before retiring, Dr. Walley set orthodontic standards in the Jackson area for more than 40 years.

With a long-standing legacy in our community, Dr. Walley created outstanding smiles that still last today. While earning his undergraduate degree, Dr. Walley met his wife, Rebecca. Together they have two sons, Kenny and Richard, and a grandson, Parker.

Education & Experience

Dr. Walley attended Co-Lin Community College, followed by Mississippi College, where he received a Bachelor's of Science Degree. He attended dental school at the University of Tennessee and worked as a general dentist in Mississippi for four years after graduation.

Dr. Walley and his wife then moved to St. Louis, MO for him to specialize in orthodontics at St. Louis University. After receiving a Master's Degree in Orthodontics, he returned to Mississippi and opened his orthodontic practice in Jackson in 1980.

In 1997, he built a second office in Madison and he and the team have traveled between the two offices since then.

Exceptional Experience

In addition to his private practice, he served as a clinical professor of orthodontics for more than 34 years at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry.

An esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Walley is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and an active member in many leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including the American and Southern Association of Orthodontists.

Outside the Office

Away from the office, Dr. Walley enjoys traveling, going to car shows, and restoring classic Corvettes. He supports local school and sports fundraisers and hosts a pet food drive for local shelters during the holidays.

Dr. Walley attends First Baptist of Madison, where he enjoys teaching and learning from his adult Sunday School class.
